For what it’s worth and I’m old and crotchety at 79. In December ’23 I had a Reclast infusion with no side effects which improved my spine numbers but not my hips. My endocrinologist had my forearm scanned because at L2 on my spine the magic number always shows osteoporosis while everything else is now in osteopenia. I believe the reading there is incorrect as I have scoliosis and the location for the most severe bend is at L2. Anyway I too have -4.0 at my forearm and back in 2002 my forearm read -3.8. In the intervening years I’ve fallen off my bike and had numerous falls snow skiing (still skiing) and tripping on roots and rocks while hiking. Never have I broken an arm despite trying to break the fall with my hands. While my endocrinologist wanted a 2nd infusion in December ‘24 I decided to wait after reading the package insert suggesting a 2 yr gap tween infusions for a diagnosis of osteopenia which alligns with the TBS of my last scan. We’ll see. Good luck.

Thank you for your reply. You sure didn’t sound crotchety!! My spine numbers are what I worry about the most. I am glad your numbers showed improvement. I have some scoliosis also. It seems you are not letting these issues keep you from living an active life! I hope I can do the same.
