Can I take Cholestoff Plus and Citrus Bergamot while taking Letrozole?

I have been on Letrozole for 10 months and my cholesterol levels have increase. My doctor mentioned that I may have to take statins.
I have read about Cholestoff and Citrus Bergamot helping bring down levels, can these be taken while on Letrozole. Also, has anyone take statins?

I was put on a statin 3 days a week prior to my diagnosis of breast cancer. I am still on it. My oncologist is very rigid about any over the counter supplements. I clear everything I take with her first. If another Dr. suggests an over the counter or scripted med, I check with her first.

@idahogal3, this is a question to ask your oncologist. It is always a good idea to check if supplements or unregulated substances are safe to take with treatment. Your pharmacist can also check to see if there may be unwanted medication interactions.
