I was a runner and am now a lurcher (5k). In adition to neuropathy I had a brain bleed stroke and arthritis. Balance problems, moderate foot pain, leg cramps etc Tried so-called stability shoes (looked like Bozo the clown) and after a while tried my best running shoes. Not perfect,
but improved all aspects including balance less pain and ability to walk for exercise which is just an all around good. I also wear socks made for steel toe boots
Everybody is different. Find a podiatrist with PN.

I agree about the stability shoes, don’t like the looks of them. I have Orthofeet sneakers and New Balance running sneakers and I find that the New Balance with the inserts that I posted a picture of work better for my bottom of foot pain.
