@amdabrock1 , I'm glad to hear that you'll be speaking with someone from palliative care. Be sure to be honest with them about the pain that you are experiencing. Hopefully they can offer some advice on how to get some relief, and how to approach the radiation appointment and technologists.
With the various places that your cancer has spread to, do you know yet which area/s they are planning for radiation?

On the neck behind the right ear is the mass that I originally started this
journey with. It's large enough now to fill the palm of my hand. A mass
behind the right hip is twice that size and one behind the left hip is less
in size but equal in discomfort.

These will be the targeted areas
