I have had 14 rounds of carboplatin based chemotherapy plus debulking surgery over the last three years. My CA l25 is now up to 742 and they want to try Caelyx. Thank you for sharing that you have had this treatment. That makes me less fearful.

I have had trouble with mouth ulcers with Caelyx. They don’t appear straight away, but take about 2 weeks. Caelyx ulcerates blood vessels, and as the mouth lining wears away because of jaw movement, the ulcers become exposed. So I could keep eating, I mashed up my food, and had soups. I tried topical ointments in my mouth, but it was easier just to put up with it until they healed.
Side effects are a little different to the carboplatin.
