@pvctom2021 My condolences for the loss of your bandmate. Did you make that improvised guitar track with your friend in mind, and record it? That would be a way to honor him, you know. It's a letter of sorts to him, how he added value to your life.

Don't stay consumed with worry. The good thing is that you notice you might do that, so you can redirect yourself! What does your journaling show you, today, about that?

What do your writings tell you about those upcoming medical appointments? And the results from the medical tests?

Thanks Ginger again for this reply containing good advice and positive vibes…I did the jam track actually with no one in mind, just some fun with sound music…but I did reflect on him and his wife and all of the events and parties we played at, and all the people, many now gone…. the pictures of his empty house and the places we used to set up for rehearsal when it was for sale…are haunting….my coming here and being reacted to, is a big part of dealing with my anxiety… and it makes me know I’m not alone… my journal this morning was to always remember that sometimes the only thing left is a short or long deep felt prayer to God for help and comfort… that short prayer helps and allows me some spiritual comfort…,that prayer over and over let’s something in….it’s the best free medicine that there is… these appointments and lab results will happen and somehow, things will get straightened out… thanks again for this wonderful reply and Mayo Connect.. and I hope you and yours are doing well and safe and HAPPY 😊🙏
