I have been using clobetasol, but my Dermatologist also just prescribed tacrolimus ointment. Upon application it causes intense burning and itching. This is supposed to be normal for this ointment, but it is lasting longer thatn 20 minutes. Has anyone experienced this?

Yes the itching is awful. Couldn’t the medication at all.

My drs office suggests chilling it before applying. Helps prevent sting/burn
