Methels reply is spot on. Have you gotten a thorough explanation of epilepsy from your physician? Have you discussed a treatment plan ?

This is me. Seizure free over 11 years. I take lamotrigine ER 100mg daily. My dose was lowered beginning in January due to GI issues. That helped plus I am working on dietary changes to help the GI issues more. On May 1 I could legally drive in AZ again where my neuroligist is located. On August 1 can legally drive again in my state- NM. Your diagnosis is not the end of your life. It is a second chance a new beginning to live a new different life.
