Has anyone used the MIKO Foot Massager and found it helped?

Posted by ellie1939 @ellie1939, 2 days ago

I'm a little worried about trying I purchased it two years ago. (MIKO MAS II)
I don't know where to go for the neuropathy ..rediculopathy.. which
I have had for three years . I have tried deep tissue massage, all
the suggested topicals and Gabapentin but it seems to be getting
worse. This pertains to the feet, especially the right foot.
Thank you for any comments or suggestions you may have.

Hello @ellie1939, Sorry to hear that you haven't found much relief for the radiculopathy. Here's another discussion that you might find helpful if you haven't seen it:

You mentioned you have tried deep tissue massage. Have you tried Myofascial Release Therapy? @jenniferhunter started a discussion on the topic here and may have some suggestions also:

Thank you for your response. I'm going to try it and start slowly at first. Also I feel it might help using it
on my thighs to help with circulation.

I have a Royoku foot massager, but the problem is I can’t feel it, so I don’t know which if the ten levels to use! I had my boyfriend try it out .. he felt all the levels and was overstimulated by the higher levels. How do I assess what level to use it on? I have not been able to give it a real try.

I have a similar experience. I have stiffness but still can feel with some pain and unsteadiness. I am going to
try it set very low and increase according to my reactions to the increase. Best course I think and then you can
judge (especially with no feeling) if and how much it is helping. I think stimulation of some sort has to be
included in neuropathy treatment. Don't you?
