I am on Anastrozole now for 6 years and they told me 5 years. Last year I asked to be taken off and she said it’s best u stay on but I can’t take all the side effects. Everything I say they just brush off. I hope you get some relief.

If “they” did not give you reasons, alternatives, risks, and a voice in the decision making process, that is just disrespectful.
This is your body and you need to know you are being heard.
My doctors did keep me on it for 10 years, but there were discussions, and a lot of women on connect talk about switching endocrine therapy drugs.
If another attempt at this discussion didn’t at least open dialogue, I might look for another doctor.
Have you just asked outright, what if I just can’t take it anymore?
