Do we actually “recover”?

I live in a big city (Portland, Oregon) but had to wait 2.5 months for a rheumatologist and then
than weeks for testing. To be honest, I've had more help from my PCP who is willing to educate herself about PMR and prednisone.

I also live in Portland and was diagnosed by my PCP who is also a geriatric specialist (I’m 73). She is very knowledgeable and I don’t have to worry about being marginalized. The long wait times for specialist is so frustrating.
