Hello @sensationalsmilesinc and welcome to Mayo Connect. From your posts I see that you have struggled with slow constipation for some time, now. How long ago were you diagnosed with this?

Many of us with this problem have had surgeries of the digestive tract or diabetes. Was there a surgery or other health issue which caused this problem for you as well?

They are not sure. No surgeries however. three years ago I had terrible anxiety attacks that lasted about two months and they could not get rid of them. I was put on all different medications. Then the anxiety went away left with severe mobility problems of stomach and colon. I had a upper scope and the foumd that my Esophagus was narrowed so they did a dialtion hope that is what caused the problem. That was not the culprit. I went from 128lbs at 5 ft 9 to 93 lbs. I have had issues with my mobility since I was young but nothing like this. The Mineral oil at night with Applesauce seems to be working but I am sick on the daily. I am better then I was and have gone up to 112lbs. The last thing I want is to have surgery. I have a wonderful well known GI who is also trying to keep from having surgery.
