Medical ID bracelet a good idea?

I do not have your concern, but do have a medical bracelet from MedicAlert Foundation. I am a blood cancer patient and also on dialysis, using a fluid not in common use. It skews up a glucose reading unless a specific machine is used. My medical ID also lets a first responder know I have a DNR.
