My rheumatologist put me only Cymbalta for Reactive Arthritis and I was in acute pain - I would have taken anything. That was 10 years ago and I’ve tried to taper off of it over and over. It’s extremely hard to get off of. Withdrawal symptoms are awful. Do not start it!!!!

You can't say that for everyone.
I cold turkeyed once. I felt a little weird for a few days . I am now back on 60mg a day. Better than the pain.!

You said , "Do not start it..." But we need to remember that every single person is different, and reacts differently to medication/surgery/therapy/supplements. I am like @ams - duloxetine gave me back my life after being a virtual couch potato, just hunkered down and miserable. My dose varies from 60 - 150 MG per day, depending on my symptoms, and I have never had an issue either reducing or increasing the dose.
So, as a fellow Connect member,
I might tell others "be cautious, I had [describe unpleasant reaction] to that medication/treatment. But the other person must feel free to consider my opinion but make their own decisions.
What do you use in place of duloxetine?
