Hopeful update!

Happy to report that after completing four planned rounds of EV-Pembro (ending on April 24) my mom's most recent Natera Signatera test came back with no observation of any (!) of the 16 tumor-informed mutations they're looking for.

Re-staging CT imaging confirms this positive news. Two affected lymph nodes have "significantly decreased" to a normal size; the mass in her affected kidney is decreasing as well (no evidence of it anymore in her upper ureter, and shrinking in the renal pelvis).

We have been cleared for consolidative surgery (the nephroureterectomy) on June 6. My mom is currently recovering during a 6 week "wash out" period. If you pray, please pray for her!

@jsbsmith, such good and hopeful news. How is your mom doing as you all prepare for the surgery date?
