Anyone else have GI issues from cholesterol meds?

Hi,
Four AM and right now it is more like gross negative for me. You think I would learn not to try new medications by now, but the urge for treatment out strips the the need to be comfortable. Trialing a new insulin, for me, currently, 36 hours of intense migraine, Tramadol hasn't put a dent in it. Woke this morning with the migraine continuing, shaking, joint pain, vertigo kicking off yet again and unusually feeling quite nauseated. Not something I usually get regardless of the medication taken. BP hit 186/117 and not sure if it is a reaction to the insulin or not, glucose level has dropped. Lord knows what will happen if I get to increase the dosage past this initial starter dose. Day three and ready to throw in the towel, but I have to resist that urge and give it a fair go. I resisted researching the known side effects in order not to influence the outcome, now after doing due diligence discover the known side effects are exactly the effects I have been getting with all previous medications trialed. I guess yet again I will be labelled psychotic!
Cheers

@cheyne A “gross negative” sounds like the worst of the worst. Who told you to take this new insulin, and are you talking to them about the problems you are having? You really need someone walking through this with you. Do they know about the other medication you are taking along with it?
