I am just starting to take Evenity as well. I had proton radiation for chemically recurrent cancer and was told I COULD NOT have any anabolic bone drug EXCEPT Evenity- because of the risk of bone cancer. Not sure why your Doctor wanted to prescribe Forteo, as it is block boxed for this exact risk. Not sure if you also had radiation for the breast cancer, but if so, I think Evenity is the safer choice. People like us, who have had recurrent cancer and radiation treatments need to be especially vigilant when it comes to medications.
