Hi @httb,
I have done the Shockwave treatment several times, for different reasons. I use it both to stimulate nerve growth and also to deal with unhappy muscles. For a nerve to be happy it also needs to glide. So I do the combination of the above and it has worked for my trigeminal neuralgia and neuropathy. Ultrasound has also been used to make my nerves happy. I will answer questions responses may not be immediate.

I am interested in hearing more about the effect on neuropathy. I am fortunate, I no longer experience pain, just numbness in my feet.

Thank you so much for your reply. It sounds like shockwave therapy combined with ultrasound has worked for you to restore feeling to nerves that had gone numb ~ once the treatment has worked does numbness return after a time requiring repeated treatment?

What kind of doctor do you go to for shockwave and ultrasound therapy for neuropathy?
