Welcome to this wonderful and caring group! I have never responded before. So here goes. I have COPD, MAC, Aspergillosis, Bronchiostatious ( all lung diseases ). So I have several lung nodules. Just recently I had a 1 cm spiculated nodule! It had grown from 8 mm to 1 cm in 3 months. When a CT was repeated. My pulmonologist was sure it was cancer. A PET scan was done and results determined it was inflammation only! It is possible to be something other than the worst. I am no Dr to give advice. Just a caring individual that experienced it.
