I’m 72 with a history of parathyroid and thyroid issues. Initially I was on Prolia for 3 yrs, but then I displaced L4-5 due to a fall. The surgeon wanted me on a better bone building med. I’ve been on Evenity for 7 months now. Prior to that I took Tymlos with too many significant side effects thus the switch. I’ve had minimal side effects with Evenity now- possibly increased arthritis pain but more manageable than tymlos. My most recent Dexa showed 10% improvement in Lumbar spine but significant decrease in left femoral neck - 19%. Everyone is different and it’s a crapshoot!
