I just have to share my concern about doctors who do not demonstrate to patients how to use an inhaler! It absolutely boggles my mind that they would prescribe something that needs instructions other than inhale twice daily. A 87 year old friend recently told me that she complained to her doctor that the inhaler didn’t work and she needed another prescription. Turns out she did not remove the cap because she thought the little dot on the cap was a hole! Honestly. How many people out there don’t use their inhaler because they don’t know how?!

@chuckstran - I agree that using an aerochamber has been great for me. It was suggested by a pharmacist a while back. I did learn after keeping mine for several years, though, that you are supposed to replace them every 6 months.
