TENS Machine to stimulate walking
I HAVE DIABETIC NEUROPATHY. HAVE FOUND THAT WALKING, BANGING BARE FEET ON CARPET, RUBBING FEET ON FLOOR CAN SOFTEN PAIN. TERRIBLE LEG BURNING AT NIGHT. ANYONE RECOMMEND A TENS MACHINE TO SIMULATE WALKING? I TRY TO CONCENTRATE ON SOMETHING PRACTICAL DAYTIME BUT LACK OF SLEEP MAKING THIS DIFFICULT. ONLY GETTING ABOUT FOUR HOURS NIGHTLY SLEEP. Thanks for your reply. babsee

babsee, while I am unfamiliar with this device, https://rxfunction.com/ it seems worth a look. I wonder if those compression leggings would be any help. https://www.theactivehealthclinics.com/the-benefits-of-compression-therapy I hope you get better answers and find relief.
Babsee, I have tried a TENS Unit. It didn't help. I got an ALPHA-STIM Unit from PT. It helps a little bit. Not enough to go buy one yourself but it your insurance will buy it it might help some
A vibrating plate or the sitting version by medical massage may help more ... I have the one you use while sitting and it helps
It sounds like it helps to have something physically stimulating your skin and the layers under it. These socks are expensive, but you might want to consider trying a pair. I find their nylon versions do not help, but the wool ones do. https://www.xoskin.us/50-Pro-Series/50-XOTOES-Toe-Sock-Crew-Wool/
