Any long term experience with Dr Bydon spinal stenosis surgery?

Posted by my3dogs @my3dogs, Apr 26 5:43pm

I have read a lot about Dr Bydon and his success with spinal stenosis surgery but can’t find anything on long-term success rates. I’m just looking to see if it’s worth having the surgery or just keep wearing back braces the rest of my life.

Well i dont know first hand yet until tomorrow. Im in mayo rochester going to have a MIS-TLIF tomorrow , scared to death actually have not read anything good hardly at all for anyones fusion surgery. I too read good things about him. I do know hes donevabout 4000 of these robotic surgeries but to be honest id rather have another approach like llif thru side etc or xlif im at l4 l5 so dont know. It was too stressful researching any other doctors to find another approach or good surgeon. Good luck to you, and me. 930 am. Pray for me please. 69 woman osteopenia and scared of having bad outcome with more problems than now or different ones.

Dr Bydon is a fantastic surgeon! He has performed my spinal surgeries. Unfortunately, he will be leaving Mayo Clinic this June. A big loss for Mayo.
