Welcome @chemist1, What symptoms do you have with your neuropathy? Have you found any treatment that helps with the symptoms?

I feel like I am also losing my fine motor skills. And coordination. It's difficult for me to separate what symptoms are due to aging and which to PN.
I'm thinking about PT to build up my leg strength so I can walk. I do weight work at home, but would like specific exercises to aid in coordination and balance.
Congrats survivor!!
My PN also caused by brain trauma. Meningiomas and craniotomy, conventional radiation and 2 x stereotactic. Then meds to deal with seizures after stereotactic radiation. Those are a trip, I tell you!
No cure for me. Time will not heal these wounds. I don't like to rest, but find I need to rest my legs.
Cheers!

I do know what went away when I started taking PreGabalin and that was left side chest pain and leg tingling and numbness and that INFERNAL itching all over my body.

I have peripheral neuropathy since October 2023 and the MRI indicates it may be originating from L4, L5, S1 joints. I have tried chiropractic locally, then PT, and two steroid injections at these joints (August '24 and January '25). Since June 2024 I started taking supplements to include alpha lipoid, B-Complex, Magnesium Glycinate, and Nervive. I've stepped up walking more to push my metabolism and try to stick to a pre-diabetic diet (although my A1c hemoglobin value is 6.0 with glucose at 126 fasting a month ago, pretty good. My BIG question, has anyone effectively tried high frequency red light therapy with deep wave length penetration to the nerves, 670 nano meters up to 800 nm with intensity for sustained change? I have listened to presentation from 4-chiropractic pain doctors promoting this Red Ultra Light technique such as Red Revive, or Norelie, or PhyxMeNeuropathy.com and others. I'm afraid to lose my independence and stepping up my options. Thank you. -Louise
