Has anyone not gone thru radiation and hormone blockers?

I am newly diagnosed and am ER+ PR-HER2-
I am going to be doing chemo. Then surgery. Stage 2 or 3 just waiting on lymph nodes. Mayo told me there was a 5% chance of recurrence with lumpectomy and mastectomy. So am doing lumpectomy. No radiation and no hormone blocker. I said NO. Recurrence is minimal percentage and I have aggressive disease.(ki-67 93%) No positive gene with genetic testing. I’m 61. If it comes back then possible radiation. But from what I understand you can only get radiation once in same area. So idk. I also have been reading The Smart Woman’s Guide to Breast Cancer. By Dr. Jenn Simmons. I love her. Check her out on YouTube

I too chose not to have radiation. I take Anastrozole. I am 77,had 2 small lumps and 2 nodes that were pos. All my other nos.# are good. Just had my diagnostic mammo and everything looks good. Had my lumpectomy in Sept.2024. Was diognosed May 2024.

You have the same diagnosis I had..............ER+PR-HER2-..........I started with chemo then went to radiation then surgery. I was diagnosed when I was 65. I had a lumpectomy and have been on 3 different AI's the current one beng Exemestane. So far, so good, but the AI's are awful. Weight gain, mood swings, tired constantly. I go for another MRI soon. This will be my second and so far so good. Hopefully, I can stop these AI's soon!!
