I am sorry the estradiol did not agree with you, because I know it takes some courage to even proceed down the HRT path so many decades after menopause. But it sounds like your doctor is working around the problem. Did the estradiol cause unpleasant side effects or just not effective?

Well it was odd , I felt completely weird and foggy in the head and very dizzy. The thing is hrt lowers the blood pressure and blood glucose which is good for someone who needs that but mine is ok . I don’t know how I will get on with just the utrogestan and a little testosterone as I haven’t begun that . Both of those hormones help to build bones but not as fast as estriadol. It’s all pretty scary isn’t it ?? I also have problems with lesions which are benign in my C1 , C2 and T3 joints and sacroiliac problems !!! My whole skeleton seems to have let me down which seems unfair as I haven’t begun exercised all my life up until 4 years ago and eat a very good diet . I am rather small boned though . I think at the moment I am living on a prayer !
