I has severe neuropathy when I started Tymlos and it has helped my symptoms greatly. I have been on Tymlos for 6 months so it has a relief for me.
However it caused bad bone Paine all over my body, does anyone know if that is normal? It’s almost like growing pains.
My endocrinologist said they had not heard of neuropathy as a side effect. I had my calcium levels checked and it was not high since taking the drug, it was actually much lower than normal for me. I am so confused as to what this drug does to calcium levels and I would imagine it's different for everyone due to your calcium intake, metabolism, etc. What I hear from others and what I research myself I find all different answers as to what causes what. It's not helpful that most drs don't even know.
