Is neuropathy a Tymlos side effect?

When I was on Tymlos 2022-2024, I had tingling in feet often and hands occasionally. The tingling has stopped but I have pain in my feet when putting on sneakers/shoes. Didn't realize that both could be related to osteoporosis meds. Thanks for bringing this to our attention.
Has anybody tried any non-prescription meds, ointment, etc to address the above symptoms?
I was considering talking to podiatrist about my feet discomfort. I will ask my Endo doc.

I have tried things like GABA, skullcap, valerian, ALA for neuropathic symptoms. They help a little....but not significantly. Lion's Mane mushroom is supposed to support nerve health too. There really aren't any topicals OTC I found for nerve pain. You could try to get a dr to order a compounded topical formula of gabapentin if the nerve pain is localized. Mine has been all over my body so that wouldn't be practical. I can't tolerate gabapentin or lyrica in a high enough dose to make any difference for nerve pain. Plus, I don't go along with the idea of taking a drug to cover up the side effects of another. Low blood calcium can cause neuropathy I've read...though that seems to be the opposite of what Tymlos is supposed to do.
