My request for hospital and surgeon's name was to "belgagrande". I am of a similar age and have been told I need a reverse shoulder replacement. He/she seemed to have a very good outcome. I would like to find a surgeon near me who is experienced with this type of surgery.

Per your request: Brian Grawe M.D.
University of Cincinnati Medical Center,West Chester Ohio.
Surgery was done as a same day surgery, I arrived at the hospital at 6:30 AM and I was sent home at 3:PM.

I had unusual circumstances related to the reverse shoulder replacement on my left shoulder. When I was 13 years old I was involved in an accident that resulted in losing most of my right hand. Since then I was forced to learn how to do everything with my left hand such as writing, opening a bottle etc. ,my left arm was doing double duty.
Since my left shoulder was now important in performing daily tasks, it was imperative to get it back into action. I made the exercises that PT gave me priority in gaining back a normal life. I spent an hour at PT learning new exercises which I would go hone and spend 4 hours performing everyday.
DO YOUR EXERCISES no matter how difficult, they will eventually give you success in your recovery.
