Sometimes it's hard for me to determine if my pain (similar to yours) is coming from my lumbar spine or SI Joint. Has your SI Joint been mentioned at all at your appointments? I saw an orthopedist who diagnosed my SI Joint Dysfunction and referred me to a pain specialist who did a diagnostic injection (numbed the SI joint area) which gave me immediate relief, proving the source of the pain. I thought it might be worth mentioning.

Yes I have had 2 injections at my S1 - no relief -It is so frustrating to not be able to pin point pain that is why considering stimulator

Yes - i have had two injection on my S1 on right side - trying a new pain dr - I walk around house for maybe 5 minutes and the sciatic pain kicks in - standing still is the worst

The exact same thing happened to me and now I 'm being recommended for an SI joint fusion which would require a rather long recovery. Being NWB and inactive for 3 mos would not be good for me and my Parkinson'd disease.
