Shat's scaring is that they are so old they could fail at anytime. If that happens I would have to go to a care home as I don't have anyone that could look after me. Would need full time. Financially that's not going to happen.
80 in a couple months. I refuse to heavily worry as I just savor the moments.
I am betting you did the PT like crazy so you could get on with life. OMG how it hurt that first time of bending. LOL

I had six sessions of PT. I do knee exercises 3x a day for 15 min. and am instructed to do it for a year. About 7 months more. That is surely a worry for you re cost of a care home. Are there any volunteer services available?
I hope your knee holds out so you can remain independent. You have a good attitude re savoring the moments. Best wishes to you.
