I have been sick for seven years with nausea, and nobody could figure it out. I am trying to get into Mayo so many times and are put on some damn waiting list. They say that they want to help people that can’t figure out what’s going on with them, but they sure don’t make it easy. I’ve never heard of an MRI of the vagus nerve, but maybe I’ll have to check it out. Why haven’t one of the many Gastro doctors I’ve gone to outside Mayo mention that. So for the original poster I feel for you too I understand. I feel like I can’t go on feeling like this. A complaint should be put into Mayo for keeping people like me not able to get appointments! I’m sure there’s many people out there that are just going there regularly for their G.I. appointments that aren’t as serious as some of us! They need to help us!

I understand. It seems like no one cares. I wouldn’t go to Mayo. For one too far. A friend of mine is a breast cancer survivor. She went to Mayo in Minnesota. Then her adult daughter got breast cancer and it metastasized. She also went to Mayo. They didn’t save her. She passed away. Waiting lists are ridiculous. This is my opinion. I hope they help you or someone helps. I’m still waiting about 5 years.
