slarson, I once had a song from the musical 'Pippin' stuck in my head for over a week and it about drove me insane. I agree, the screeching is preferable, lol.

72 years old male with Tinnitus for over 20 years. Learned to live with it. At times it subsides, other times it’s loud ring. It deeply affects my hearing most of my waking hours. Thank God it settles down with head on pillow and I get to sleep okay. I’ve tried everything but nothing stops this, more than a few seconds.
