Yes, I had to guide us with osteomyelitis and the L3 vertebrae. It took three weeks for them to diagnose it from the onset of pain that was so excruciating. I couldn’t stand or walk. Once they diagnosed it with an MRI and a CAT scan, confirming abnormalities in the end plates of the vertebrae they started vancomycin, Through pick line and eventually I had to go to a rehab rehabilitation hospital after three years I am still in pain.

I had excruciating pain that started mild in the morning in my back and whole abdomen area but by midnight I was in the ER. They found nothing. I went to the ER 4 days in a row and all tests were negative for anything except CRP was high. No diagnosis. I gave up on the ER and tried to control the pain at home. They found nothing pain got better gradually in about 3 months but never went away. I went to a chiropractor and got 12 weeks of therapy and an orthopedic clinic and got a cortisone shot but nothing helped. So finally got 2 MRIs in the last week both confirming that it is discitis. So it took 8 months to diagnosis it. I hope we can fix it. Did you get antibiotics and did it help?
