From what I understand I need to go get a procedure like a biopsy to see what is causing the infection so they can start the right antibiotic. My dr says Monday

I am surprised you are not in the hospital ED already, it is quite an emergency. I pray the biopsy goes well! Maybe be went well and they kept me quite comfortable.
They did find both acute and chronic osteomyelitis. This only means the infection/inflammation has been there a little while and is still present.
