Does anyone find that a type of shoe helps your foot neuropathy?
I am on a constant quest for shoes that don't kill my feet due to the neuropathy. I find that Spencos and Wolky shoes seem the best. Are there any other suggestions? Shoes can be just crippling for me. Horrid.

For me CROCS are ok though recently found EVA sandals or semi-closed on Temu, much better comfy, than Crocs and i am at 280#.
Compression socks helped me a lot
Hola Bondi 8 shoes
I posted on one of these topic areas about the value of going to a podiatrist but I don't know exactly which one that was. Anyways, I did go to a podiatrist who gave me a list of shoes specific to my issues (neuropathy primarily). Not all models of a brand work for everyone and you have other specific issues. She gave me a list which did include Hoka Bondis (which I bought) for daily walking as well as some other brands/models. Also Oofos for walkng about the house nstead of slippers, hiking boot reccommendatoins, too. Changing footwear has made a big difference--I've also cut out sugar and don't eat as many carbs, soak my feet and apply moisturizer immediatly when done (ditto with after a shower--do it quickly to seal the moisture in), and I use a TENS unit for pain every night for at least 20 minutes. All this has absolutely changed my neuropathy--very little pain ever! I suggest seeng if your doc will provide a refererral to a podiatrist.
I found certain styles of SKETCHERS have been my go to for at least the last 8 years. Look for the ones that have a full soft flexible inner sole (able to press your thumb in 1/4" or more) and go for ones that are a little tight across the instep and flexible, breathable top. I have 4 that I rotate daily to allow the foot moisture evap. Sketchers has outlet stores in some areas that makes them reasonable priced to be able to try different styles without a big expenditure if a pair does not help. I am 230# and they last a couple of years min.
I would appreciate a link to a pair that meets your specs. I can't find these specs in the descriptions online. Thanks
I don't know about shoes, but, if it might be helpful to you, I am using redlight therapy wrapped around my feet to help circulation. Better yet, I recently found , Restore Wellness Center, in my area. Saw them once for a consultation, and will be going in for 1st treatment. NO shots, NO drugs. They do take insurance. If one is in your area, you might see if they can help. they do work with neuropathy.
Barefoot Shoes is the answer & offers more relief than all the dozens of suggestions here - I’ve tried most of them. Barefoot Shoes strengthens your calves & ankles, improve balance helps to feel the pedals when driving. Available on Amazon - many styles, thick & thin with varied amounts of support. They are inexpensive, as well. Worth a try.
Awesome
I bought a "Hooka brand" Bonty model sneakers, super wide and super soft, is like walking on clouds. The fact that the borders come out makes the shoe more stable. For me they are working excellent. Other that that I try to use small booties that hold my ankles. With sandals, even the more supportive ones, I have had my ankles twisted.
