I’ve had LC since February 2024. I got the Covid booster vaccine in September 2024, with no positive or negative effects. I just got another Covid booster and look forward to seeing what effect it will have over the coming weeks. I’ll report the outcome to this forum.

Before getting this latest booster, I searched for studies (like you mentioned) on the effects of the Covid vaccine when administered after a person already has LC. I found no such studies. However, infectious disease specialists did recommend that longhaulers continue to get the booster vaccines twice a year, to protect them from getting re-infected with a new case of Covid.

The latest thinking seems to be that each re-infection will further worsen a longhauler’s health.

Hi there, question, does getting the latest booster prevent getting Covid or lessens symptoms if you do get Covid? I’m thinking about getting the latest booster but leery.
Because I actually got Covid again after getting the shot and my acute Covid symptoms were actually worse the second time, after getting the shot.
