My husband has thyroid cancer. Was stage 3b. Spread to lymph nodes. Had a total neck dissection at MD Anderson. I worked radiation oncology for a long time and thyroid & prostate were the most curable so I was obcessed and intrigued. Knew them backwards and forwards. He began with swollen lymph nodes and bright red the week after he returned to work from COVID. I sent him straight away to the ENT. 15 biopsies later, was on the books for surgery within 2 wks. Had 2 vax in 2021 but had Cov Feb 2024. He done I 131 and was supposed to be still curable. I had never in all my yrs seen his situation. Follow-up wasn’t until 8 months later. Has recurrence in thyroid bed and possibly recurrence on scar line itself. Your daughter is young. And I’m sure not same circumstances as my hub. He was 57 at diagnosis. Much prayers for her other condition🙌🏼✝️🙏🏼🙏🏼🙏🏼

Thank you so much! My daughter has had almost identical symptoms and issues. She has just returned from Denver and her surgeon (in Billings) had missed some cancer in her neck. She is scheduled for surgery in June at University of A Denver Anshutz Campus. Being on dialysis is also a problem but we will get through this. Thank you so very much for your thoughts and support. I wish you the same from our family. 🙏🙏🙏
