this site and the information I've received has been extremely helpful. I have decided to wait 1 year before taking any prescription medication in hopes that my increase in calcium intake along with Caltrace will help.

I was taking 800 mg of calcium and had to stop as my Eye doctor noted that she could see the Calcium buildup in my eyes and was concerned not that it would hurt my eyes, but whether it could also be building up on my arteries. So, I am taking Calciven with K2, and once the AlgaeCal supplement arrives, I will ONLY take it. It's not cheap, but neither are our bodies, and we only have one body and one life. I want to make the best version of myself without harming the rest of me to live a healthier, happier, longer life ahead.
I just got diagnosed last week and my GP wanted to put me on alendronate right away. But i would like to speak to an endocrinologist first to weigh all my options. First, i want to know if my number of -3.2 is very bad?. My diagnosis was a total shock because I am only 63, am in good health and exercise 3x a week.
