How much of the prostrate tissue is removed during HoLEP
I had my HoLEP procedure done 3 weeks ago, after reading up on the procedure I am a little confused, if 80% of the tissue remove and a biopsy found 3+4+7 does that mean the remaining 20% is also likely to be cancerous....what would be the next setps??

My PSA in DEC 2024 2.03, surgery was March 27th. Waiting for Decipher test results, followed by PSMA PET/MRI and the same for the Pelvic region with and without regents, followed by PSA and then consult with Doc.
Is UCSF considered good for these types of procedures
"A Doctor at a center of excellence would be a good choice for a second opinion" Any suggestions
UCSF is a really good place to go, They really know their stuff. We were even talking about Dr. Roach’s Recent video about radiation, in another discussion in this forum. He’s at UCSF, my brother had his radiation done by him As have many other people I have spoken to. UCSF has a once a month prostate cancer group online meeting which I attend. Not everybody is a patient of UCSF, but many are.
It sounds like all of the things they have planned for you should at least show what’s going on.
I have also joined the Forum at UCSF..hopefully will bump into you!
