Has a colonoscopy ever affected your neuropathy?

I forgot to mention one very important thing to ask your surgeon about. If you've had surgeries, such as a hysterectomy or anything near the GI track where you may have adhesions ... ask to be put out completely. They always put me out completely because the scope needs to move freely through the the intestines and I have adhesions from a hysterectomy.

Also when they give me the IV, I always ask to have them do it bracially, in the area at the bend of the elbow. They usually give an IV at the radial, wrist area. If you ask, they will listen and give the IV where you prefer.

Thanks for talking to me about the adhesions and also about the IV placement. I wrote those down along with all the other information you guys have given me. I’m so glad I brought this up here where you guys have so much experience. Sorry if it had to be with a colonoscopy…! Bcool
