Digestive issues and can't get pancreatic cancer out of my mind

Posted by diamondback2k9 @diamondback2k9, Apr 4 10:00am

I have been dealing with Chronic diherra.
I had my appendix removed and got put on Creon which had cleared up by diaherra issues. All of blood work has been normal expected my Total Protein which is slightly elevated at 8.3. Reviewing my past test its always been higher. My bilirubin levels are normal but I have noticed they are slowly increasing every time besides one. I have at CT scan and everything was normal. I can't get panarctic cancer out of mind even though my Dr. said I am okay. I typically do not drink at all but two days before my test I did have quite a bit on a night out. Im wondering if this could have elevated my Protein and Billirbrin test? I have been feeling great since every starting Creon and getting back to my normal weight. Not sure if I should worried or not? I generally feel well

Got my endoscopy done and everything looked normal. Waiting for biosys to return.

Just want to give a quick update here. I was given an acid blocker to take in the morning and most if not all of my stomach pain is gone and I'm having no back issues either after that. My Dr does want to do an endoscopy so will complete that test and see how things are going. Bowel movements are seeming getting better slowly as well.

Proton pump inhibitors (PPIs) inhibits exocrine pancreatic secretion - its the first line of treatment during mild acute pancreatitis in some countries given by IV sometimes.
+ Creon/Pertzye of course to give pancreas a rest

I have just got my endosopy results back. The found moderate irration in my stomach but nothing abnormal. I have been doing great since going on the acid reflux medicine and the itching has resolved since I stopped taking my anti-anxity meds. I have a clear mind and pretty good energy levels now. I get to follow a GERD diet and I have follow up in year.
