@jdtay87 Hi John. You are posting a discussion in the kidney / bladder group and you mention the A1C test; correct? I take that to mean that you have both diabetes and kidney issues. Did you know that diabetes and hypertension (high blood pressure) are the two most common causes of kidney problems? I am unsure of what uACR is. Could you enlighten me? I have difficulty with acronyms and abbreviations but I’m VERY familiar with A1C and eGFR. Thank you for the “whack-a-mole” reference! That is truth!

uACR is urine albumin to creatinine ratio. Normal is under 30, elevated is 30 to 300, anything over 300 is severe. Having 1395 is really scaring me. I do often have foamy urine and swollen ankles and feet, which also point to kidney damage. I'm not sure why my eGFR is still normal, but according to a "kidney heat map" chart I saw, having a severe uACR with a normal eGFR still puts me in the orange or second highest category for possible kidney disease.
