Hi All !
I tapered from 225mg of effexor over 2 week spans at each dose, i did exactly what i was instructed to do after being on the med for over 5 years at a high dose.
when i tapered down to 37.5 i started having diareha and now I am completely off of it and Wednesday will be 3 weeks since i have stopped it completely, I have been having diareha , wondering when it will stop and if anyone else had a similar situation

Though your comment was 4 months back, yes, I have just starting have diarrhea this week and I have to watch it because I am regularly underweight (110 lbs).
I have been weaning from venlafaxine for 4 months now . It is slow going and just this past wk diarrhea and severe depression has set in.
I am seriously considering returning to taking the medication. It is very hard to see light at the end of the tunnel.
