Hello! So happy to find this group. I just started Tymlos 4 clicks last week. The 3rd dose caused HR 117. I was able to use my meditation breathing to get it down to 100 and was better in about an hour and half. I was unprepared for this and then read only 2 % have this side effect. Seems like after I spoke with the office this is fairly prevalent. I have company and intend to restart at 2 clicks after they leave-so 5day break. The information on the pens-how long are they good-was very helpful. I noticed a headache that did not go away. I have migraines that are well controlled but wonder if anyone has them and noticed any change in frequency of migraines. I am on Verapamil SR which is a blood pressure medication. My blood pressure is low from that. So will have to be on the look out I guess.

Hi Stacy. I am new as well on Tymlos. I had to dial back on my clicks after trying 8 and next day 4. Waited a few days and began at 2 for five days, then 3 and finally up to 4. I had changed to mornings and I didn’t have the headaches then. I didn’t have the increased heart rate but foggy headed and not feeling good. I continued with the four but began having terrible back pain. However, I had just recovered from kyphoplasty of two small fractures so my spine doctor asked if my Tymlos could be causing the pain or adding to it. I had read it could, so being I was having two SI joint injections to see if that would reduce pain, I stopped the Tymlos to give the injections time to help me. It’s been a week and my pain is better so after another week, I will try going back on Tymlos in another week but will begin with 2 clicks again. I was found fault with by stopping it for I was asked, well if pain begins again, I wouldn’t know if shots stopped working or if it was Tymlos. I just rolled the dice and thought this would help knowing. I am hoping by stopping for a while it doesn’t take away what some I did have. I have even considered not taking it while on a trip for the side effects. Hoping they will get better and hope yours do as well. Stay in touch..
