You notes on Beta Alanine may have saved me.. I donot know if I have MCA. but I itch! this last winter was the worst yet, and in summer I have uncontrollable itching on my L elbow and wrist. I started Beta Alanine last wk.. q 4 hr when I'm awake. It could be placebo, the supplement, or winter is over and I am just better. BUT, I am not going to stop! Muchimas gracias!

Yippie!! I am thrilled to hear that you tried Beta Alanine and It worked for you. Since I wrote my post, there has been a small study by a medical group in Florida that specializes in Itch Disorders and they concluded that Beta Alanine does work for many who have itch issues, Aquagenic Pruritus specifically. What I have seen is that a large number that suffer for AP also suffer from itch caused by other triggers, like change in Temperature.
