I bought a raised toilet seat with arms from Amazon and it helped a lot with sitting on the toilet and getting up. I assume you are going up stairs one foot at a time which helped me. This is a hard recovery. Keep doing all you can. I don’t know of you need to wait a year for
more testing. Maybe a second opinion?

Thank you. I did buy the toilet seat which has helped tremendously. Steps are awful and I have a great deal of pain getting up and down from a chair. I had a second opinion with X-rays and the implant looks good. I've been referred to a pain management fix to see if nerve, tendon or ligament were damaged during surgery. PT therapist said I should not have this much pain 5 months post TKR.

I had a 2nd opinion. Nothing is wrong with the replacement yet, no one can determine why I have chronic knee pain.
I will keep trying to recover from this. Just wanted to know if anyone else has experienced pain nearly two years later.
