This sounds all too familiar. Surgeons don't give all info up front as the percentage that have issues after TKR. 20 to 25 % have issues. I am 18 months post TKR , only now beginning to get better after getting tired of surgeons ( I've seen 3) telling me everything look perfect. I went back to my original ortho doctor in sports medicine. Recently he did scope on knee removing scar tissue and corrected fat pad impingement caused by the TKR. It's now been 5 weeks pain is much better and strength is improving by the day.......my advise .....hold the surgeons feet to the fire, most really don't want to mess with you if have issues.....unless something shows on xrays they don't know and may not care how severe your pain.

Thank you so much for your input. This has been a nightmare. I have gone to an Orthopedic sports doctor, Orthopedic surgeons and Neurosurgeons thinking it was nerves from my spine. It's been absolutely terrible. I am going to revisit it with the intent as you mentioned about removing scar tissue & correctly fat pad impingement. That's the first time I have heard that. Thank you so much for the info!
