Probably general anesthesia since the D&C is considered like surgery. I had one a couple years ago so know what to expect. I'll be glad to get it over with and get the results.

@daisy17 I've had two D&Cs and was under general anesthesia for both. The anesthesia was similar to what I had during a colonoscopy which is, as I understand it, a sort of short sleep. So, it was pretty easy to wake up and the recovery time was very short. I'm relieved to know you will have the same as I did. And yes, it will be very good to get this done and find out what's going on.
