Hello @oliversolis1212
I looked up Ocean Essence on web: I am trying to make it brief.
I apologize for 'shouting' it is a direct copy and paste
What are the ingredients in Ocean Essence?
WHITEFISH, HERRING, WHITEFISH MEAL, HERRING MEAL, QUINOA, PUMPKIN, OLIVE OIL, DICALCIUM PHOSPHATE, NATURAL WHITEFISH FLAVOR, CALCIUM CARBONATE, SALT, CHOLINE CHLORIDE, POTASSIUM CHLORIDE, DL-METHIONINE, TAURINE, VITAMINS (VITAMIN A ACETATE, VITAMIN D3 SUPPLEMENT, VITAMIN E SUPPLEMENT, NIACIN SUPPLEMENT, D-CALCIUM
I would confirm these ingredients with the label on product.
This appears to be marine not a bovine supplement.
It does not appear to have collagen Type 1 or Type 3 which is considered
beneficial for bones.
Ocean Essence also appears to have Calcium Carbonate -
a calcium which you can buy on its own.
Choline Chloride is interesting: there are studies on it mentioned
on the web.
It also has other 'supplementation' I would be judicious in taking.
I would not personally be buying this product for bone health.
I would look for Fortibone (Gelita) brand.
I think Kevin Ellis aka Bone Coach, is mentioned in a thread somewhere
and has a recommendation -
https://healthybonesco.com/products/collagen-peptides
I am still doing my research on brands that
have Fortibone peptides (hydrolized)
"Hydrolyzed" and "peptides" are closely related terms in the context of proteins and their breakdown.
I have not done any further readings on Calciven.
After much research and reading, I am close to making a decision on which Brand to buy.
ConsumerLab on the web (Dr Cooperman a real M.D.) has great
informaton, especially to avoid lead in products you buy.
Greetings,Bevlevvancouverbc,
You are so kind to respond and THANK YOU KINDLY for sharing significant information on these products.
I think I will try the Peptide Collagen from Bonecoach or Dr. Cooperman.
I truly appreciate that you took the time to research and help me.
Sincerely,
Esther
